From Whos down in Whoville to the annual “A Christmas Story” marathon that starts Christmas Eve, ’tis the television season for holiday fare.
The networks are rolling out beloved classics, such as “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” (NBC, Dec. 2), and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (ABC, Nov. 30). There’s even a special for a special, with “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown” airing right before “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and featuring music from Vince Guaraldi and a pair of Kristens: Chenoweth and Bell.
And for Bill Murray fans, check out “A Very Murray Christmas” on Netflix (Dec. 4). Happy holidays to all, and pass the remote.
