Nashville Public Radio hires Holly Kernan as CEO
“She brings a wealth of experience in leading teams,” says Board Chair Neil Thorne.
Holly Kernan replaces Steve Swensen who is retiring from Nashville Public Radio.
“I’m thrilled to help shepherd this next phase of community service and to embrace my new home in Nashville,” she said in the announcement.
Kernan was most recently chief content officer at KQED in San Francisco. She joined the organization in 2014 as executive editor of news. Kernan also worked for more than a decade as news director at KALW in San Francisco.
