I've been baffled as to Holly Levis working for two stations that are in direct competition with another. She has a regular weekend gig on WALK, but for the last couple of months she's also been doing fill-in work for KJOY on the weekends, and today she actually subbed for Jodi Vale in the mid-day slot. I understand that part-timers might moonlight at different stations, like Party Marty working for both KJOY and B103 or Matt Raub in Connecticut working for both Star 99.9 and The Fox. But those are sister stations owned by the same parent company and not competing with one another. Heck, it's not like she's even working for WBAB or WBLI which are different formats and generally not in competition with WALK. But KJOY possesses the same format as WALK and are in direct competition with each other for the same audience. It would be like someone working for WLTW Lite FM and Fresh 102.7 at the same time, or working at WHUD and WFAS at the same time, or working at Star 99.9 and WEBE 108 at the same time. Sorry, but it makes no sense to me how Holly Levis was able to pull this off, with Patrick Shea and Bill Edwards signing off on her employment at competing stations.
