Monday Gordon Hoagland from the trucking company told Marco to leave the company on Monday. Man was he steamed about that. Marco had been on the phone talking in Spanish and ran right through a train crossing, and got "clipped" as the truck drivers say a lot in the ass end by a speeding Amtrak train in Flagstaff. Mr. Hoagland (I always call him that because out of respect for him and his family who have been nice to me) called me in Yuma, and paid to let me rent a car to go to Flagstaff and pick up his tractor trailer rig at the shop. I did, and Mr Hoagland met me in Scottdale where we had waffles and fried chicken at a place there..and we talked and listened to the lamptimer station on 1440 radio. It was really cool. Later that afternoon he was real nice and said he was in the mood for another meal, so I said how about roast beef? and he said okay. He's kinda fat.
He asked a cab driver to take us to roast beef and the cab driver drove us to a place called Scottdale Steakhouse and Maestros. Wow that place is top shelf man..all the way for sure. There were 5 waiters just for us, and we had salad with cheese in it. In the kitchen they were listening to KOOL radio. I could hear it. They even played Saturday in the park. We had a delicious dinner, and he bought a dessert. Later when he went to have a cigar with some men he said he knew I asked the cab driver to take me to see the towers of KMIK. It was a long ride and cost almost 85 dollars. But those are some towers there. Too bad they play Micky Mouse radio and not oldies. I bet oldies would sound cool on there. I get to drive the rig back to Indio, (in California) and wait for a load of some kind of special sand, and I get to drive it to Longview Texas and back. One of the other Hoagland brothers Denny is a butt head. He said I was short of a brick, and that I am a nut. I heard him say so on the phone to his sister. That was mean
thank you
