Holy WRFF, batman!

I figured I would tune in to see what this station sounds like lately. Apparently what passes for “Alt” these days is soft rock that is not “alternative” by any stretch like “Complicated” by Avril Lavigne. What’s coming up next, Natasha Bedingfield or Jason Mraz? Maybe a name change to Pop 104.5 is in order?

Also WUMR cracked the 2.0 share in October and November of 2022. That's just to quickly name two monthlies where they did. They also are the #1 Spanish language radio station in Philly, so they will be tops for Spanish language ad-buys. But you of course already know this from previous threads.

To the core demographic the station is targeting, she fits with all the other early 2000s Pop/Punk they play...

Alternative in Philadelphia historically thanks to Y100 has always been more female friendly than the rest of the country. But "Complicated" is also in gold rotation at other iHeart Alternatives including Alt 98.7 Los Angeles (off its highest ratings in a decade) and DC101 (the #3 station in the market), while DC101 and others are also playing Sk8er Boi.
