HOME.fm gets a CHR sister station

Spring Arbor University, owner/operator of the Christian/Secular AC hybrid HOME.fm, has flipped their former "Power Praise FM" to the new Christian CHR "89.3 The Vibe" as of September 6, 2005. (News to me - I'm surprised it didn't appear on this board, at least that I saw.)

Despite the more hip-hop/rhythmic sounding name, the station does appear to be simply CHR formatted, not CHR/Rhythmic. It does, however, carry the hip-hop show called "The Vibe" on Friday nights.

I think it's interesting that their new frequency did end up, in the end, as a CHR station.
