Hey there
I'm looking to set up a studio in the spare room in my apartment to record voice-overs. My budget isn't huge, but needs to sound professional.
I have an Audio Technica AT4040, and a Shure SM7, what is the best way to set them up for recording into cool edit on my PC. Obviously I need to supply phantom power somewhere for the AT4040, but I'm only recording cold voice, and the mic's don't need any eq, so I don't think a mixer is needed. Could what I need be achieved with just a mic amp to supply the phantom power?
Thanks
