Does the subject line mean that this service was delivered by satellite?

That would be kind of odd for a local provider.

Until 1967, cable Ch 6 was occupied by significantly viewed WNBF Ch 12 Binghamton. By the time Blue Ridge Cable came to Honesdale in 1996, it was the first time Honesdale had significantly viewed Ch 2 & Ch 13 since 1980, Ch 4 since 1983, Ch 11 since Dec 31, 1989, and Ch 7 since Oct 1993. Also in 1996, Honesdale carried MTV for the first time. Significantly viewed WMGC/WIVT Ch 34 Binghamton was on the system from 1996-2001.
