Honesdale Radio

K104 does not come in Honesdale. KRZ does and Froggy does also. I use to work at the Route 6 mall as Security in Honesdale.

Well, I was in Honesdale over the weekend, and I can attest that satellite radio reception is perfect there. Sorry, but I can't stand the stations up there.
 
Been off this board for months and months, mostly because it kept bouncing my password, so I gave up. Tried again today, and bingo, it works. Actually, I made it back here via Beale's Bites.

Some time ago, we had an active and interesting thread running on Honesdale's(and Wayne County's) very first radio station, WHPA, which went on the air in the early 70s. For those familiar with the Honesdale area now, that should give you some idea of the rural character of all of Wayne County not all that long ago, that it never had a single radio station until maybe '71 or '72. So, anyone interested in breathing life back into a WHPA thread?
