Honey, I don't miss you

America's Best Music plays "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro, a depressing song because of how it ends. Otherwise, it's cute.

A classic country station played it when I was listening. I hadn't even considered that it might be country.

It's generally considered one of the worst songs.
 
I knew Bobby Goldsboro was considered country, back when I didn't know any better.

If they were going to play something of his on the weekend of Father's Day, it should have been "Watching Scotty Grow". Now that's a cute song.

And I wish America's Best Music would play it more and the other one less. I know they used to.
 
Also, I knew about Bobby Goldsboro because he was one of many country stars with a music/variety show.

My favorite memory of him is a commercial I saw a number of times where a man with an Eastern European accent translated his music.
