Honeymooners missing from WGN America

I noticed that WGN has stopped showing the Honeymooners. Not that I really care. I only like the 39 anyway. The kinescopes are just too hard to watch. For now they are just showing two more Newharts. I hope they come up with another classic to replace the Honeymooners. But I'll miss the string of poloponies and addressing the ball -Helllllo Ball.

According to the listings on Charter Cable The Honeymooners is on with 2 episodes from 1 AM to 2 AM CT, which had been the time that The Beverly Hillbillies had been on. It could turn out that was what was dropped. I actually don't mind being able to see more Newhart, but I'd also like to see them get another classic series for the hour. WGN America on Sunday nights has become my favorite night on TV.

I made a mistake on the time. It should have been starting at 1 AM ET instead of CT. Sorry about that.

WGN seems to be continuing a trend of pushing shows that I like into the wee hours of the morning.

They also tease me by only running ONE WKRP episode Sunday evenings.

Best of my knowledge WGN is still running two episodes of WKRP 7- 8 (Eastern) on Sundays. I have a suggestion. Maybe they should push WKRP back to 8-9 and NewHart 9-10. Then Put Bullwinkle on from 7-8. I just happened to catch Bullwinkle Last Saturday night (at midnight). I think Bullwinkle is funnier now than when it was new. I get all the jokes now.

Unless there was some special programming I'd have to be witness to there being, again, ONE episode Sunday evenings. Believe me, I'd be giving props here if 2 ran back to back. They shoule run about 4 WKRP episodes in a row.

Cubs baseball ran into extra innings Sunday afternoon. I don't know when it ended, but it may have caused an episode of WKRP to be dropped.

I'd be for adding Taxi to the Sunday night lineup.

I'll bet that's what happened. There have always been two episodes running back to back Sunday nights.

Yeah, Taxi would be great.

It would be great if at least one hour of "Newhart" was the real Bob Newart show, not the sloppy seconds Inn Keeper version. It also has a Chicago connection, which should be good for WGN.

I noticed tonight that WGN America is showing Barney Miller in the Sunday 9-10 PM ET time slot. I would have liked Taxi, but this is good too. :)

I've thought the same thing. The '70s "Bob Newhart Show" would be a natural for WGN.

Agreed. The first Bob Newhart Show was the best.

They should add The Mary Tyler Moore Show along with Bob Newhart. Also they need to show the black and white episodes of Bewitched since they're also showing the black and white episodes of I Dream Of Jeannie.
