Honolulu just got an FM Adult Standards station!!!

KHUI FM 99.5 in Honolulu just dropped Hawaiian Music for Adult Standards as "99.5 the Jewel." They use the Westwood One Adult Standards format. WOOOOHOOOO!!! Honolulu now feels like Las Vegas. Hearing Adult Standards in FM stereo makes me feel like a king.

Holy crap, Badget, you're celebrating the end of a local format for some canned crap that's simply beamed out of a satellite? Since you're feeling like a king, I'm sure you'll be willing to share some of your riches with the local staff who are now out of a job. Nice.
