Hooks on WTIX-FM?

I listened to WTIX FM this morning and I could not believe what I heard- Was Jay Hooks broadcasting news with Mike Costello?
If so, it's great to hear Hooks again.

It wasn't me, but...

It wasn't me, but I appreciate the kind sentiment behind your post.
I hope everyone that I care for in radio was fortunate during Katrina and Rita.
It was because I always had a good fallback position in rural Louisiana that I felt comfortable living in the New Orleans area. I'm happy to report that I lost my doormat and unemployment handbook, but that's what I get for leaving it in the driveway. Just kidding, of course. But seriously, I did save all my years of documents from radio... the good, the bad, and the," Oh my God! I can't believe they did that". I'm compiling all kinds of documents and such just in time for the tenth anniversary of Billy Tauzin's Telecom 96, and the ramifications to radio and television. Makes me really glad I didn't sign that severance agreement when I was laid off a few months back that would have legally bound clones from my descendents' navel lint 700 years in the future.

May the Force, etc.,

Hooks, radio retired
