so what happened to the show? shouldn't they be able to say GoodBye if the show was NOT gonna be on anymore? :'(
 
People who get fired don't get to say goodbye.
 
I work in that building...the Chix were not fired...they resigned.
 
So we listen to their show Monday-Friday,enjoy their banter and funny take on local sports and now that's it! Poof! Gone! The SportsChix were just a total 180 from what all the other shows are/were. Are they really history? Did everyone associated with the show also get the axe? Tough to understand-I don't know if I will stay a listener to 1010.
 
Spot on, Parttimer. Its one thing for your content or persona to be "shocking" or "over the top", but if you don't have any respect for one or more of the fundamental aspects ...no matter how flawed it may be...of the business, you have no business being there...whether you pay your way in or not....
 
I'm pretty sure that 1010CBS/WQYK is a pay as you go enterprise of radio... I know that the guys who do The Sports Explosion (Vince Noble and Vincent Munoz) on Thursday evening, tried to do a simliar venture with "Girls Gone Sports" and it, well, tanked, as well.
