Horror movie icon Sid Haig has passed away at 80.

He became a icon in the Horror movie world, but this past weekend, a icon has passed away as Sid Haig has died at 80s years old. He was best known as the comedic but yet evil clown Captain Spaulding in the 2002 horror film "House of a 1,000 Corpses" and it's 2005 sequel "The Devil's Reject. the 2 movies were written and directed by rock star and former White Zombie frontman Rob Zombie. he also started in 2 Quentin Tarantino films, which was 1997's "Jackie Brown" and the 2004 film "Kill Bill: Volume 2" (the sequel the the 2003 movie, which was known as "Kill Bill: Volume 1"). He had roles in the 2007 remake of "Halloween" (which Rob Zombie directed). He even had a role in a James Bond 007 movie in 1971's "Diamonds Are Forever" and also was in "THX 1138", a movie George Lucas directed before his "Star Wars" franchise began. his career spans all the way back to the 1960s.

He was in poor health in his final days and was hospitalized recently. He recently also filmed his parts reprising the role of Captain Spaulding in the upcoming sequel to "House of a 1,000 Corpses" & "The Devil's Reject". he passed away this past Saturday from unknown health reasons.
