I wasn't a fan of Louie Anderson either, even though I will give him props for having the show's producers up the Fast Money prize to $20,000 and played an important role in setting up the Firemen-Policemen specials after the 9/11 tragedy. Louie even admitted himself that he really wasn't into the hosting role until around his 3rd year, but by then, it was too little, too late. I also disliked the set design during Louie's reign as host, even though I didn't expect them to totally re-create the Dawson and/or Combs sets. The set re-vamp when Karn too over as host was much better.

And that's kinda of the stigma that Karn will always have, he'll always be Al Borland to sitcom fans, not necessarily the newest host of one of the best-known game show franchises in television history. With Dawson and Combs, at least they made the Feud their own shows, Karn just didn't have that presence, in my opinion.

I agree with that, after all, he's a familiar face (especially to the Fremantle people), and I do feel optimistic that O'Hurley would make a fine host of Family Feud.
