HOT 101.7 in Panama City

The old Salem talk WLTG 1430 and translator on 101.7 is now Hot 101.7. Satellite "Dee Dee in the Morning" morning show and something called "Tino Cochino Radio"

I just tuned it in. The programming is fantastic. It appears that the signal has improved and sounds better than it was when it was running the talk format (new processing). Smart move on their part. I'm sure they weren't killing it with the block programming.

Audio sounds like it is going through two buckets of mud. No punch or presence. Sounds like a cheap mp3 stream on the radio with nothing local. Nothing worth listening to.

Dock Trash I'd hate to find out how you feel about the audio on my stations.....but honestly I think you are right about the mp3 thing.

Virtually every station audible in PC has better audio than 101.7. Poor programming, Wonder what audience slice they are going for?

The local group is the group that is also LMAing 104.3 ....aka ESPN Radio..... licensed to Lynn Haven.....according to FCC records there are several renewable sales agreements but they have not been executed.....104.3 still belongs to Horizon Broadcasting out of South Florida
