Hot 103/Hot 97 Tribute Station

I have been enjoying this Hot 103/Hot 97 Tribute station for several weeks now. It sounds exactly like back in the day. The music, the imaging, voiceover IDs. And they've even brought back the DJs from that era that you hear so regularly. It sounds like a well organized station. Sound could be a bit better though, a bit too much dynamics. Missing some more compression like in the old days.

It has to be someone with the programming and production chops to pull it off, connections to the original jocks to get those VTs, access to the original imaging, deep knowledge of the music and skills with a professional automation platform to get it to sound like this. Joel Salkowitz?
 
He did the first tribute station, but I don't know if he is involved in this project. Also a lot of shows during weekends. It's a real station now not a 'jukebox'.
 
It really sounds better than 94.7 The Block,it's the real throwback station, but als on this station lots of repeats though.
 
I agree that this is a great throwback station, with some great songs that I haven't heard on terrestrial radio in years. I would not compare it to 94.7 The Block because Hot 103/97 has a different format, namely rhythmic CHR. But, yes, 94.7 The Block could add hip-hop songs from the 1980s in order to make it into a true throwback station.

94.7 The Block needs to loosen up its playlist and add 70s, 80s, and 90s HipHop, R&B, and Caribbean..<Now THAT'S a REAL Throwback station.
