Okay, I think they have been on the air long enough be now, to stop rotating the same 20 songs over and over? Does Radio One usually do this??? Their CHR Competitor Z1077 is even playing newer and better Hip Hop than they are.

They must be doing the same thing that KTTB/Minneapolis-St.Paul was doing when they debuted. Plus the station deal isn't finalized yet so they might be waiting for the green light before they go live, which could happen after New Year's(2006).

Do you think their is any chance of them playing some POP, and/or Dance, when and if they ever go live, and get a Positioning statement, and get the format put together.

Knowing Radio One, the live and positioners could happen. As for whether they'll add Dance or Pop crossovers, thats highly unlikely.

Yeah I FIGURED so much in this city, especially since Z-1077 already kinda does that. They could easialy be mistaken for a rhythmic.

I gotta hand it to Z though. Even though they lean heavily Rhythmic you can still tell it's a Mainstream CHR/Pop station. They pull it off really well, just like 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids, or Channel 955 Detroit.
They also play some good Dance tunes in the mix during Saturday nights.

This is off topic, but since Midwestclubber knows I'll ask: what are the best clubs for Dance music in St. Louis? I know Ferry Corsten spun there a few months back. When I was there I got the impression that some of the trendy spots are on Washington Ave.
