I've noticed Hot 104.5 "power songs" have drop from 100+ spins last week to less than 50 spins this week.

More throwbacks/variety?
 
I noticed the variety too and I'm liking it. Heard "mercy" by two chains yesterday. Not sure I've ever heard that on their. Plus some others too .

They've added more throwbacks including some uptempo tracks. Power track spins are now hovering around 30 spins per week.

Personally, I would like a similar format of 103.9 KTU or 93.9 MIA.
