Hot 104.7 VS 99.7 KKCK

These two stations kind of butt heads in the Sioux Falls area with Top 40.Hot 104.7 has a few distinct advantages. 1) It's run by a large company with more access to money and DJ's2) It has a much stronger signal in Sioux Falls than KKCK3) It directly serves Sioux FallsKKCK however is a very interesting station.1) The music mix is good.2) It has a HUGE signal that covers most of SW Minnesota and Eastern SD.3) It offers slightly different music than the typical top 40 stations.Let me know what you guys think about these two stations and keep in mind the odds against KKCK when responding.

Why can't 99.7 move into SF? Are there other signals blocking that possibility? I know about the new 99.1 CP. Still, it seems like they could move closer to town and have better success.

KKMA 99.5 maybe too close. yes, I know they're 75+ miles away in LeMars/Sioux City.

However, which such big signals, KMMA puts a Grade B signal 20 miles south of Sioux Falls and I think if KKCK were to move right into Sioux Falls there would be prohibitive overlap of some contours.

I've helped friends with recent AM and FM apps and we wanted to mvoe them, but came into a problem similiar to this. It looked ok on paper, but technically it wouldnt work.
