Hot 107.1 promotions with "Hustle & Flow"?

I went to see "Hustle & Flow" over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that the movie wasn't half bad, and I felt it was $5 well spent (an early afternoon screening--I'm cheap like that).

Anyway, Hot 107.1 was the 'official' hip-hop station for Memphis in the movie, and I wonder what local promotions the station had done for it's premiere--and, considering the pub its competitor got, if K-97 touched the movie with a ten foot pole. <P ID="signature">______________

<font color=3333ff>Don't know what the other station(s) did, but I think that Hot did a good job with it...............

One thing that is overkill, they are playing Hard for a Pimp TOO MUCH. I don't think I've ever seen a radio station spin a song 153 times a week. I liked the song, but it got old very quick... quicker than 50 Cent.
