HOT 93.7 - CHECK THAT MICROPHONE

Pick up the phone and call the Chief Engineer.
Some of the talent I have found were I work fail to report problems and then it does not get repaired
unless I hear it or see it. Can not hurt to give a call if you hear something that is not right to your ear.

Maybe it's the Reggaeton that needs to be checked? Seriously, I never notice it when I listen to them...which is rare. With CBS owning the station, you'd think they'd put more money into it? Hmmmm!

I think the more pressing issue here is...

Marc, what did you pick up at the Stop N' Shop?

Gene Faltus is the engineer for WZMX/WRCH. Give him a call to report the problem.
Jeff Hugabonne I also know reads these boards so he might pass the message along as well.

Marc you always do this, and I always say this to you. If you hear/see a technical problem with a station, just call them to report it. No need to post on here everytime you hear/see a technical glitch.

We also don't need EVERY detail of your day either.

"When I woke up for the 8th time to go to the bathroom, I heard on my mom's radio, which was tuned to WXYZ, on the way back from Stop and Shop, on Queen Street in Southington, where I work as a checker at Walmart, while sorting my possessions in the trunk of my friend's car"

Really... TMI

While there is a thread about 93.7, my problem with them is that they play the same 10 songs over and over again every hour. It gets annoying. I know they must have more playlists to choose from. I hear each song about 10 times a day, and I work.

This is nothing unique to Hot 93.7. Try listening to Kiss, KC 101, TIC, etc, etc.

Hot 93.7 ! The best station in New England ! What up DJ Buck !

Wow, so much hostility. That's fun.

How's about we talk about radio and not take life so seriously? And lay off MarcB. There weren't too many details and his concern was reasonable.

And Hot really is Hot. #1 12+ in the latest trends! Assuming their demos are on target, that's great. Worth talking about in my book.

actually the observation is appreciated. i'll mention it to gene
thanks for listening!

Hey radio board umpire, this is a radio board. Its ok to post any subject about C.T. radio ( Connecticut Radio Board)

ZMX (like KSS) is a CUME based format. Those formats depend on a listener hearing a hit when they tune in; no hit, the listener moves on to another station that is playing that hit and station 1 loses. Huge CUME, less TSL, as opposed to formats on stations like HCN that have low(er) CUME, high TSL.
