Somehow, I almost forgot that March 2001 was the start of Hot 93.7 in greater Hartford. Before that it was the old Jamz 910 of New Britain for urban contemporary music. Of course we'd later see the failed competition of Power 104.1. What are your thoughts?
Entercom had a press-release that stated they would be doing a year long celebration. And they had mix shows on all day on Tuesday March 16th. March 16th being the day in 2001 that they flipped.
I don't listen to HOT 93.7 as much as I used to. Today's hip-hop is not the same. I find myself listening more often on Radio dot com to 104.3 Jams out of Chicago which is Throwback Hip-Hop.
