Hot 96.9 vs Jamin

How does WBQT and WJMN perform in terms of their desired audience? A18- 34 A25-54 And do you see beasely doing anything to Hot 96.9 in the future

A audience? I am not familiar with this term at all. And I have been following radio for well over 30 years now. Can you clarify this? Thank you.

How do both stations peform in the ratings?
OK, just for future reference, just simply say the target demos, or something to that effect. Using a single letterr before a demo is confusing at best, and could very easily be misinterpreted to mean entirely something else than intended.

That is just my 2 cents anyway. Continue posting and reading Radio Discussions! - Retro

I meant to say target demos. How do both of these stations perform. Considering both stations play similar music. WBQT does lean older

Maybe at this given point, they resemble each other. However, in my brain, this is my perception between the 2 stations:

Hot 96.9, the best in current Hip Hop and throwbacks!

Jam'n, a has been station trying to recoup what they lost when Hot 96.9 pulled the rug from right under them.

It is never good to have the former program director of your station, later launch a competing station. One who knows how your station works, therefore is able to capitalize on your existing stations weaknesses.

And to add more injury to the womb, Clear Channel more or less aloud it to happen too! The only real reason why Jam'n 94.5 continues to survive is because iHeartMedia hasn't pulled the plug on them yet. Plus, they seem to be at a loss as to what to do with 97.7 The Beat also. So, they capitalize on optimizing their very well performing stations instead.

You've never seen the term "A25-54" or "A18-34"?

I see that you have deleted your answer. But to answer your question at hand? Quote frankly no.
