AGREED! These songs are complete overkill! I've mentioned it to them on Facebook, but of course, the admins don't seem to read them much.Lightning said:96.9 is starting to get a bit stale. I don't understand how many more times we can hear "Catch My Breath" or any of the Maroon 5 songs in rotation. The throwbacks are the same throwbacks from when the station first started. There are 1000s of songs out there. PLEASE throw something different in the mix.
You all are right. I was with my neighbor today. She's African American, she's ?? about 52 years old. She had (HOT 96.9) on in her car. She had a friend with her, that lady was about ?? 43 years old?NHRadio said:LAUROJRM said:It's not a crime to like a particular format of music
No, it's not a crime. But it should be to say the same thing more than 1000 times on a Radio board despite minds much greater than mine telling you why it's not practical.
I double that. I haven't even seen Job Advertisements for (On Air). This is what I'm talking about. How do these people get these jobs? What about Outside Applicants who has 10+ years related experience?SupermarketSweep said:They are? I haven't heard them on the air or seen anything about their additions.

It's not right how they do this
For your information, I have way more than 10 years related experience. You don't know nothing about me, so keep your bad thoughts to yourselfNHRadio said:LAUROJRM said:What about Outside Applicants who has 10+ years related experience?

I hate to burst your entitlement bubble, but every radio station is required to put their yearly EEO data on their website if the station has one. It's all there...where the openings were advertised, how many people were interviewed and hired for each source etc etc, so your statement "it's not right" is, as usual, not grounded in reality. All that stuff is public.
BTW, you sure don't have 10+ years experience so why does it matter?

Soooo, he knows something?
When you say "related" what do you mean? DJ'ing weddings doesn't really count.
