What bad thoughts? I and others have asked how much Radio experience you have, Lauro...you've refused to answer. Are you saying you have 10+ years of broadcasting experience? Enquiring minds want to know. The reason we "don't know nothing" (Oh, the grammar!) about you is you won't tell us. As That Guy said, DJing weddings and clubs is not broadcasting, and what exactly is "not right how they do this?" Please stop being childish and defend your opinions like an adult.
If you actually have 10+ years of actual experience I'll be the first to apologize...but I doubt I'll need to.
PS-My experience is 30 years of commercial on air radio experience as of next month.
 
If a person came to me and told me he was considering either garbage collector or radio broadcaster as a career, I'd encourage the former without thinking twice.
 
I have over twelve years (Commercial) Radio Broadcasting Experience as a Producer/Board Operator, and continue to do so these days.
It's not fair how those radio stations hire those radio host, and they didn't even list that job posting. How are they going to hire radio hosts like that without posting it?

Well, if that's true then I do owe you an apology. 12 years as a board op? Never on air? That's unusual.
And, of course it's not fair. It's not supposed to be. Lots of jobs in every industry are never posted.

All of the full time on-air positions are listed. That's the rule. Every radio station posts their EEO report on their website where you can see a complete list of the locations where all of these jobs are listed.

Getting the job is a different story. Working on-air isn't just any job. It's an incredibly scarce position, and as with other careers where there's an incredibly small number of openings, it's more about who you know than what you know.

One of my colleagues used to say that getting an on-air gig was "1/3 talent, 1/3 who you know, and 1/3 luck."

I hate to burst your entitlement bubble, but every radio station is required to put their yearly EEO data on their website if the station has one. It's all there...where the openings were advertised, how many people were interviewed and hired for each source etc etc, so your statement "it's not right" is, as usual, not grounded in reality. All that stuff is public.
BTW, you sure don't have 10+ years experience so why does it matter?

hahaha funny you should say that. My first job at 13 years old was working at a Cucumber Field in Sunderland, Ma. I hated that job because my biggest fear is (and still is) is Dragonflys
They are (BIG, MEAN and SCARY) looking
