Hot 97 beat Power to a new banger...yet again

Hot 97.1 played "Push Play Intro" of Diddy's much anticipated new release. Music insiders are running wild trying to rearrange other artist street dates, in fear of a wipeout in retail interchart movement. And still, Power remains silent doing shock radio for the suburbs.

That's a banger? The only bangers Diddy has ever been involved with was "It's All About The Benjamins" and "Bad Boy For Life" - everything else I've heard from him is wack. For the most part he relies too much on guest appearances, his lyrics are wack, his flow stinks, and he relies too much on sample. Great businessman, but unfortunately can't really hack it as a rapper. I've a feeling that with all the pop acts he's working with on this new album, it will be terrible.

Well he must have hired a new ghostwriter, because puffy is back and bad. Listen to Say NYC , like minute into it. its hot.

Buy the way....hot played it first, and power follows two months later....as usual. Hot played the new snoop last Thursday too.

hot is so much better than Power musically. power has the jock, thats the truth, but how is power even doing now that Star is gone?

That was whack. So Is come to me. The Beat seems too weak, kind of kid like. I haven't heard anything else yet from the new Album but if the rest is like that, it ain't going anywhere. If it has more beats Like 50 Cent What up gangsta, it MAY do something then

the Most recent period Power beat hot in ratings but most of that time included Star. Next Period will tell. Hot has been tweaking their format a bit Less repetition More Hip Hop Less R&B ( the R&B they DO Play though is HOT, Mary "Take me as I am" is FIRE. Nice Dead Presidents Beat). getting more listener input, Power has been status Quo with their Music hasn't adjusted one way or the other. Seems like their Game Plan is to Steal as many Hot97 Jocks as possible. Tigger is OK but he is no Star
