We just boosted the station antena to 5000 watt to reach Boston metro reaching to Manchester Worcester Providence Cape Cod with all of Boston's hottest music. U listened to Hot 97.7 WBOT now 87.7FM WPOT is your new home for Hot 97 Boston. Mayor of Boston love Hot 97 u should too!!! We also be looking for more DJs to join the Hot 97 who wants to apply

You missed one correction, Bob.

87.7 "WPOT" is not, and never has yet, broadcast in HD digital.

All of us know that your station is an illegal pirate station, you can't convince us that it isn't. You are making yourself look even more foolish with your bad grammar in your feeble attempt to inform us about your station. At least your Wikipedia entry was semi-decent, but this post could have been written better by a 4th grader.

5,000 watts makes WPOT the most powerful pirate station I've heard of. The FCC should bust you any day, but they don't care.

5000 watts is just about as legitimate as their liscence or the fact that their "broadcasting in HD". :D it's not 5000 watts, it's somewhere around 1000 watts.

Re: whoever from the station started this topic, I don't know who you think you're fooling, but if you took the time to read the forums, you would see we are WELL aware of your illegal operation on 87.7.

Also "WPOT" has to be the stupidest fictional calls I have ever heard, at least make it something the FCC would approve so that you could fool the average non-radio geek.
 
I looked at the account info and it doesn't look like a professional business email address.

I bet you wouldn't be saying that if a pirate station playing classical music was interfering with a licensed station that played your favorite "music".

I would love to see a Pirate classical music station block any or all Boston Legal music stations. All Boston legal Music stations SUCK !!!! 87.7 is not blocking anything that I know of .
 
Well looking at Jamn's ratings it looks like their cume actually went up! SO I don't know what effect this "pirate" everyone is so afraid of is having.
