Hot 97 is taking an agressive stance against all competitors right now, between in studio interviews with Beyonce and other R and B artists. As well as having big names like D-Block aka the Lox doing freestyles on Flex's show. Now that Power has lost Star, the station is anchorless, will Hot's new fervor allow it to continue to dominate east coast hip hop culture.

its also added "plays new music first" to its imaging.
