hot 97 stream is low

All Emmis streams sounding like crap, level too soft or too loud, distorted etc. etc.. When taking radiostations internet radio streams seriously the same as the off air signal? Common whe are not living in the dailup modem days.
 
they make it so that most cell carriers can stream too. If if was any higher quality it would buffer too much on 1x and 3G cell phones.
 
Low bitrate streams really can sound better. Everything stands or falls how you processed a stream. Breakaway processing and the Orban cards specially are great for that.
 
Seems like Hot97 will be part of the iHeartradio network soon. Cox(Cumulus) and Emmis are joining the network. Well PLJ is already on the App
 
Yes, but it's a pitty that the station using Iheart radio using there own 'processing' so no difference in quality. Clear Channel stations sounding better than years ago b.t.w.
