RadioInsight reports that the TV version of the hip hop station will be broadcast on WASA TV, which is available in New York on channel 24. Spectrum cable will also carry it. It has been broadcasting since last year in Atlanta.
I wonder, if this works out, whether other local stations with strong brands will try something similar.

I think it’s a good play and I think more station groups should consider it. Nothing wrong with running radio shows on tv. Just as entertaining. If this is the play, I’ve got to think ihm would consider a move for the breakfast club
 
I watched about a half hour of it this morning having stumbled onto it by accident. I’d never seen anything exactly like it — the segment I saw was very chatty and listenable but also quite politically focused. Not dumb celebrity-driven stuff (my opinion). I’m not really the demographic they’re likely going after, but I gotta say, I was quite impressed.
