HOT 97 Weekend Schedule changes

As reported in the www.radio-info.com Friday morning 11/14/08 News Update, the 3 hour syndicated "Sabado Picante" ("Spicy Saturday") show featuring Carmen will be coming to Hot 97, I assume on Saturday mornings. See links below to further info about this show. (2nd link has links to a "Hot 97 Demo Show" & a format clock.)

Also, the Sunday schedule has changed:

DJ Envy's Top 20 People's Choice Hitlist Countdown Show now airs on Sunday mornings from 10am-Noon (instead of Sunday late afternoons from 5pm-7pm).

Street Soldiers with Lisa Evers now airs on Sunday mornings from 9am-10am (instead of Sunday evenings from 9pm-10pm).

Any further changes, I'll keep you updated as I hear (or read) about them.
 
I wish Street Soldiers had moved to 7pm Sundays instead of early Sunday mornings.
Good move for DJ Envy's show.

I wish they would play more music from NYC/Northeast U.S./Canadian artists. Their playlist is filled with backwoods Rappers from Atlanta. If you listen to Hot 107.9/ Atlanta (hot1079atl.com), they play artists (Rappers) from that area. They will play a Jay Z song from time to time, but mostly stick with their own.
 
Admittedly from the brief time i heard hot 97. They seem to play alot of new york artist. Like
Jim Jones , Jada Kiss , Jay Z. U don't hear those cats much down here.
