There is more to this, Rap and hip-hop having been stagnant for the last seven years has pretty much played-out. Its almost completely gone from the gathering places of young, white, twenty-somethings here in town (don't know about the sticks).

The other problem is that it caters to a very young audience and these are just the people that radio is now losing to other sources of entertainment.
