Hot 99 and Hot 100 using the same logs

I noticed today that Hot 99 in Johnstown and Hot 100 in Altoona are using the same music logs. They're not simulcasting outside of morning drive, but they are playing the same songs in the same order at the same time. The two stations were just a few minutes off of each other all day today.

Well, Jonathan is listed as the PD of Hot 100 and does the show from J-Town.

Saves on computer work having one log for both stations.

Typical Forever behavior.

Why do they need logs when they play the same 16 songs over and over?

Hot 103 is completely separate then?

When I passed through a month ago, I noticed that Revolution 101 and sister station Hot 103.7 in McConnellsburg are doing the same logs.

The differance being that you can't pick up Revolution 101 very well in Mconnelsburg and not at all in Chambersburg unless you stand on top of the highest building with a big antenna. Vice Versa for State College. The idea was to try it and see what would happen. After some long thinking we asked ourselves why and are disbanding the practice in July if not sooner.
