According to Radio and Records... here's the most added tracks this week. Opinions?

GAVIN DEGRAW IN LOVE WITH A GIRL (J/RMG)

FERRAS HOLLYWOOD'S NOT AMERICA (CAPITOL)

COLBIE CAILLAT REALIZE (UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC)

PAT MONAHAN TWO WAYS TO SAY GOODBYE (COLUMBIA)

LAST GOODNIGHT STAY BEAUTIFUL (VIRGIN)

AUGUSTANA SWEET AND LOW (EPIC)

Gavin DeGraw- I can see this going Top 10, was the 5 year gap in albums too long though?

Ferras- American Idol will be this guys ticket. Great song... should climb quickly.

Colbie Caillat- Another big hit. It's the perfect sound for Hot AC right now

Pat Monahan- Still on the fence on this one. Don't see it being huge.

Last Goodnight- Love this song... but for some reason... I burn out on their songs REAL quick.

Augustana- Love this song... but dunno how well it will do. May be a slow climber.

Haven't heard any of 'em except Gavin DeGraw and Colbie Caillat. I totally agree with Beejus about the Colbie Caillat sound. Look at the success on the format for "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson. Try to play that song 3-5 years ago and it wouldn't have cracked the top 40. Gavin DeGraw is going back to his trademark sound for "In Love With A Girl". The closeness of the sound to "I Don't Wanna Be", I think, would be the only caveat for this song. I agree with the top 10 potential, but I don't see this song entering the Hot AC Hall of Fame. Call it the "song of the spring". Maybe.

I agree, it should go top 10 hot ac and I do not think the 5 years will really hurt this guy. Look at Maroon 5.

Ferras- American Idol will be this guys ticket. Great song... should climb quickly.
I added it, but at like 7-8 spins a week. Its a good record, but anymore that doesn't mean anything ;D

I added this a few weeks ago into at 7-8 spins a week, and on Monday I upped it to a medium around 15-20.

Pat Monahan- Still on the fence on this one. Don't see it being huge.
Holding off.

Last Goodnight- Love this song... but for some reason... I burn out on their songs REAL quick.
Still not sold on these guys taking off, they just seem so unfamiliar even with having a top 15 song already.

Augustana- Love this song... but dunno how well it will do. May be a slow climber.
I agree.

I also added "Don't Stop the Music." Rihanna at night. It will get like 5-8 spins a week after 6. I think with the Michael Jackson sample it gives it a sense of familiarity to the 25-54 demo, plus the guys across town are hitting this one pretty hard. It may not be the safest record, but you gotta take a chance once and awhile.

My currents:
A's
Into the Night -Santana. Feat Chad K.
Love Song - Sara B.
Apologize- Onerepublic Feat Timbaland.
Tear Drops on my Guitar-Taylor Swift
Feels like tonight-Daughtry
Paralyzer-Finger Eleven
Sorry Buckcherry
Shadow of the day-LP

B's
These are hard times- Matchbox
Whatever it takes-Lifehouse
Won't go home-Maroon 5
No One-Keys
Realize-Colbie
Never too late-Three Days Grace
Tattoo-Sparks
Say-John Mayer

C
Clumsy-Fergie-Ferg
Love is free Sheryl Crow
Hollywood is not America-Ferras
In Love with a girl-Gavin
Stop and Stare- Onerepublic
Dont stop the music-Rihanna (night)

Double R, I really like your music mix in your hot categories. Kudos to you for programming a solid Hot AC mix.
