Just an hour ago, I started receiving stations from The Valley (KBTQ and KKPS) and San Antonio (KAJA). 20 Mintues later, Corpus Christi showed up (KLHB and KMXR). 10 minutes later, small conjunto station KUKA comes in. What a great station, has great variety of Regional Conjunto songs. This is a one of a kind station that is only found in the small town of San Diego, TX.

As of right now as I type, I am receiving KKST (I assume) and WRNO. But what really surprises me is that WRNO is coming in HD. It is very clear. No drop outs of any kind. This is yet my farthest HD catch. That is over a 300 mile catch!!!! Can anyone tell me the distance from New Orleans to Spring?
 
wow mr oldjohnny I think your amazing!!! How you talk about stations and how you know all the call signs!! I dont even know the spanish one here in houston.!!! Ha ha ha

The WRNO tower, near Chalmette, is about 327 miles from Spring.
 
I was checking out KKBA out of Kingsville yesterday in San marcos, they sounded pretty good. Also this morning I was picking up stuff out of far east Texas, I didnt stay long to get the call signs though. I had 105.1 country Spanish was on 97.3. I'll half to look them up later to see.
 
I was catching WDVW/La Place, La."Mix 92.3" yesterday like a local. Actually caused some minor interference on KRTS/Seabrook around 5-5:30.
 
WDVW is on the tallest tower in Louisiana, located in Vacherie, along with KYRK-104.1. I've caught WDVW on Galveston Island an number of times. WRNO to this area is a long stretch. For what it's worth, I did receive KMDL in Lafayette, LA on my way to work yesterday morning. It's a C2 @ 38kw. Not bad for a station of its class fighting KAJA San Antonio.
 
HD on WRNO is new...maybe a month or so if I remember correctly. Might still be working the bugs out. I'm really curious to see if WWL-870 gets HD and if it will work at night here in Houston considering how clear the analog signal is.
 
I'm curious as well. From Bryan all the way down to Houston, WWL is very clear. In College Station, it is even clearer than Texas locals KTRH, WOAI, KRLD, and WBAP
 
I believe it's all about ground conductivity. WWL's daytime signal sounds good up to the 610 east loop and reaches up to downtown. It gets lost in the noise after you go further west.
