I don't really care for their gossipy morning show (or most morning shows), but it is a scoop and it's radio-related, direct from WFTL, and the station definitely needs some attention:
On Wednesday, October 11th, which was officially "National Coming Out Day," News-Talk 850 WFTL, Fort Lauderdale, FL "outed" Florida conservative Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist. Guest on the morning show with Kelley Mitchell & Russ Morley was 3rd party candidate Max Linn. Linn told the WFTL audience that he's known Crist for 25 years and even worked to help get him elected to other offices. Linn said it was common knowledge in Tallahassee (the state capitol) that Crist was gay, but it's never discussed. No response yet from the Crist camp.
Posted without comment, except that I'll vote for Crist regardless.
