Hot Thunder changes

Big changes at Inner Banks' Greenville, N.C., cluster last week: Things started off Monday morning (July 2), when Rod, midday dude on hot AC WWHA & WWNK (the Hot FM), left to do afternoons across the street at NextMedia rocker WXQR (Rock 105).

Then, on Tuesday, market fixture Gina Gray, who was Hot FM MD and afternoon goddess on country WRHD & WRHT (Thunder Country), made the trip to NextMedia rhythmic AC WQSL & WQZL (the Party). When everyone came back from the July Fourth holiday on Thursday, Thunder Country promotions coordinator and morning show producer Jagger exited.

So, how is "Thunder" doing in eastern Carolina? I won't be heading there for summer vacation this year, so I won't get to listen. Are they making any difference, or are they just another new country clone playing the same 10 songs over and over per day? ::)
