Hotel Cable Report - Holiday Inn Rosslyn, Arlington, VA

Tonight I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Rosslyn, near the Key Bridge in Arlington, VA. I'm barely 1/2 mile into the state! Anyways, here's what I can see for their "cable". I'm not sure if it's a Comcast lineup or not.

- WDCA-TV (MY) channel 20 Washington DC
- WDCW-TV (CW) channel 50 Washington DC
- WETA-TV (PBS) channel 26 Washington DC
- WFDC-TV (UNI) channel 14 Arlington, VA
- WHUT-TV (PBS) channel 32 Washington DC
- WJLA-TV (ABC) channel 7 Washington DC
- WMDO-LD (MAS) channel 47 Washington DC
- WMPT-TV (PBS) channel 22 Annapolis, MD
- WNVC-TV (IND) channel 24 Fairfax, VA
- WNVT-TV (IND) channel 30 Goldvein, VA
- WPXW-TV (ION) channel 66 Manassas, VA
- ? [Hotel card said Azteca America?]
- WRC-TV (NBC) channel 4 Washington DC
- WTTG-TV (FX) channel 5 Washington DC
- WUSA-TV (CBS) channel 9 Washington DC
- WZDC-CD (TEL) channel 25 Washington DC
- ? [Hotel card said CSN?]
- MASN
- HBO
- A&E
- ABC Family
- CNBC
- CNN
- HLN
- Disney Channel
- Discovery Channel
- ESPN
- ESPN 2
- Food Network
- Fox News Channel
- FX
- NBC Golf Channel
- HGTV
- Lifetime
- MSNBC
- MTV
- Nickelodeon
- ? [Hotel card said TBS]
- TLC
- TNT
- Travel Channel
- The Weather Channel [with local conditions, likely from Reagan National Airport - DCA]
- USA
- Bravo
- SyFy
- AMC
- NBC-SN
- TruTV
- BET
- Comedy Central

The Maryland Public Television feed said "MPT.2". Was it technically WMPT-TV 22-2? MASN was airing Tampa Rays vs Baltimore Orioles baseball. I couldn't tell if the Philips TV was HD or enhanced widescreen. Quality didn't look too bad really. I think the TV is a 32" screen.

Interesting that the channels are more or less in alphabetical order. 12 should probably have been WQAW Azteca America, making 1 through 16 alphabetical, then 20 through 43 are also alphabetical.

I was supposed to have been at that Holiday Inn last Friday for a luncheon, but wound up missing it.

All I know is that I didn't stay in the same room as 1989, since that was on the other side. Too bad, because the view is better there, too!

The cable in 1989 was awesome! I know they carried WWOR. The "Big 4" from Baltimore (2, 11, 13 and 45) were on the lineup then as well.

Ha! I didn't even notice the alphabetical call letters until you pointed that out! What I did notice is the cluster of Comcast/NBC-Universal channels in the 40s.

I also see that none of the broadcast channels were on their so-called legacy spots (example: channel 4 on 4, 5 on 5, etc). I highly doubt that signal ingress would be a problem these days. (We always has CBS 3 of Hartford on analog cable channel 2 for that reason.)
