I recently stayed at the Clarion Hotel in Portland, ME (11/26/2010). While the cable had the dreaded LodgeNet remote, the cable lineup actually looked good, so I'm guessing it was the actual Time-Warner Cable lineup for Portland. :)

Oops! You're so right! I forgot that Comcast wants to take over the world. I only have limited basic cable here with, yes...Comcast. Ugh!

maybe they do

It was a good move that Comcast took over FSN New England. Not a fan of FSN. Since it became CSN New England the network looks better.

We get the channel here (central Connecticut), but it's part of a digital cable package which I can't afford. That, plus I'm not a Celtics fan anyway, so no big loss. As for the lineup itself, you could see that it was the regular Time-Warner Cable lineup. Except for the placement of HBO on channel 2, the giveaway that this wasn't Dish Network was when I saw NECN. They've run ads in the past that they're not distributed on satellite. (I do still get NECN, with my QAM tuner placing it on channel 88-1.)

As a separate question: Is WMEA-TV channel 26 of Biddeford still on the air? The programming of theirs and WCBB-TV were different when I lived in Maine. These days, I would imagine that if it is, the station would just fill coverage holes in York County where WCBB's from Litchfield, ME wouldn't reach.

It's the same network, back in the early to mid 90s ('92 or '93 or so) the Colby-Bates-Bowdoin group (channel 10 Augusta) and Maine Public Broadcasting (Channel 26, Channel 12 in Bangor, etc.) merged to form one statewide network.
