Houston a feeder market for KRLD?

I do not spend a lot of time on AM, but I've noticed a lot of voices I used to hear when we lived in Houston are on KRLD. Bonnie Petry, Scott Braddock, David Rankin all did Houston radio and TV. I think Will Sterrett was on the air after we left. I know KRLD shed a lot of on air talent. Did they do it to bring the Houston folk up here? I never had a problem with the Houston crowd, I just never viewed them as replacement for the anchors/hosts/reporters here.

Well...

I find it extremely odd that they rely on The hi Tech texan for thier tech news! he's from Houston and writes articles for the Chron and is on a competing comapny station there with his own show.

its sad when they could consult a local tech guy with similar experience like ...um...say...

...ME! ;D

Pardon my asking, but what is ... KRLD?

Thank you.

Affectionately yours, and forever mine ... until I get sick of you.

I am ...

Dallas and Houston are, of course, the largest markets in Texas, so if you leave Houston for any reason and want to stay in Texas, Dallas is the logical choice.
