Houston area radio notes (update thread)

Te opened conversations of small radio news.

Translators 104.5 is down,

102.5 is down, but I believe this is the actual KMAZ since I’m very close to downtown.

Translator 92.5 is down too.

I just checked because I noticed 94.1 was off the air on my way to work. 104.5 is also off the air. 92.5 and 106.1 are dead air. 105.3 is still on.

KJHJ-LP in Conroe is on. 96.1 KCVE-LP is off though.

I do want to say La Nueva 94.1 was on the air around 1 PM. Was very nice hearing K231DA without interference from K231CN. Just a little bit from KQXY.

Since 104.5 has been off the air I've already heard KKMY from Beaumont, KZCW-LP in Willis, and KZEP in San Antonio. I sure hope they stay off tonight.

Wonder if the FCC inspector made it to the Wells Fargo
I doubt it. 105.3 was still going on and the translators that are dead air are just as strong. (This is all allegedly please don't ban me or close this discussion)

All the translators are back to their normal programming. Was fun while it lasted. The 94.1 and 104.5 translators that were completely off do seem a bit weaker now

Wells Fargo plaza had their annual maintenance power outage this weekend. Got the notice about it last week.

So, it's 102.9 QBM (Que Buena Música). Noted.
Maybe it was just something they said. Did not listen again, will listen one my way home from work. 😂 speaking of the subject just heard a tv commercial that said QUE BUENA.

They didn’t say QUE BUENA MÚSICA, so maybe the TV commercial has not been updated or it was just a random thing they said that there music is good.

I've heard no such thing from their sister station in Chicago, which is also called Qué Buena.
