Houston digital rescan

My apologies if posted already...

just did a rescan and these new channels popped up -

KZHO 38.1 Spanish, no logo
KZHO 38.2 Shows a big "V" for a station logo?
KZHO 38.3 Pregrabado?
KZHO 38.4 Musica Cristiana TV
KZHO 38.5 Blank

KBPX 46.1 is TheCountryNetwork, website TCNCOUNTRY.com

JUST FYI.

I really wish however some of these stations would put something on worth viewing.

Yeah, 38's been on for a couple of months. They're broadcasting from the JPMorgan Chase Tower downtown.

38.1 and 38.3 are Vision Celestial. 38.2 is Vida Vision. 38.4, Music Cristiana, is coming soon.

yragha, what part of town do you reside? I'm not able to pick up 46.1 in north Houston. Just bought a new antenna which yielded me 62 stations overall for Houston. Was hoping that 34 would be a part of that, but to no avail. I guess you have to live right under the antenna to get it.

Digital is a lot touchier than analog when it comes to aiming your antenna. Even a few degrees off and you'll lose that marginal signal.

Clear Lake.

46 is always around 65% signal strength and your not missing anything showing country music vids 24/7 which you can get on CMT or GAC. On my Dish OTA module KPBX always shows PBS programming schedule for Bryan-College Station... weird?

I wish I could get 34 as well, been waiting on RTV and it had to show up on a low power that hardly anyone can get. I use a DB8 inside 2nd floor closet and still nothing.

Yhraga, have you been watching CMT lately -- no, you cannot get country music videos on that channel much anymore, except in the mornings. Usually you get reruns of Extreme Home Makeover, or Pauly Shore's movie "Son-in-Law" and crap that really stretches the definition of "Country Music Television." GAC has a much better focus on actual country music, and usually when they are not showing videos GAC is at least showing something related to country music (which occassional forays into bullriding and other events).
