Houston Engineers...

I work for an independently owned cluster of radio stations in the Bryan-College Station area and am looking for a qualified engineer(s) to help bring our operations into the 21st Century. We can't afford a full-time engy, but would love to replace our contract guys with someone who could devote a few days a week to our operation and be on call when a crisis arises (we were off air 3-5 times within the first few days of the Fall book).

Post the names of a few qualified folks who could make the commute an hour or so North of Houston every once in a while to make sure our needs are attended to (we need some consoles replaced too). Our owner recently shelled out a butt load of cash for new Scotts studio equipment for our stations and I'm convinced our engineers will find a way to skrew it up. Gimme some some reviews for H-town vets like Andy Hudack, Chuck Underwood, Sidney Jones, Dan Woodard, Jed Wilkenson, Marty Scuggs, AD Rigmaiden, etc. Who would you trust with your stick? Who else is needing some work and is qualified in a world where engineering talent is at a premium?

Jed, Dan and Andy all do great work at Cox Houston. Very nice guys to work with too.

There are others out there. The folks at Univision are all very good folks, and stay very busy. Give me a shout and I may be able to help find someone for the CS stations.

Ratings Ho...guess I should give you an idea as to how to contact me...you can reach me via cellphone, 281-923-7100. There are a number of pros out there, and Houston's a good place to track them down.
