Houston HD Radio wish

one of my biggest Houston HD radio wish is to get rid of some of these smooth jazz channels! Mix should bring back energy. Why does 95.7 play smooth jazz at night? they use to play 650 24 hours even when they went off the air at night. My other wish would be that they could all come up to full power then it wont drop out on me so much.

THIS. When HD works, it's great. But it's really hard to get the signal to lock for anybody other than KUHF.

I do pretty well about 25 miles from the towers. Every HD station locks. Unfortunately - the only HD-2's I have any interest in are 107.5's oldies and KSBJ's NextGen. I can't lock on those with an indoor antenna. It takes an outdoor antenna.

Oddly enough I am just using a dipole antenna, I can pull in the missouri city stick at around 55-63db most of the time. It cuts out more during the day than night. Right now I have that setup so I can also pull in Victoria pretty well and the other surrounding stations.

I miss being able to hear smooth jazz on the radio. I wish buying HD equipment was as easy as going to a place like Target to pick it up. I listen to XM's Watercolors, and have found 3 online stations I like, but would love to hear smooth jazz on FM or AM again.

Best Buy. I think the HD boombox is on sale right now.
