Houston LPTV's get cable carriage

Comcast here in Houston has added a bunch of new channels this week, amongst them LPTV's KHLM/43 and KVQT/21, which are now carried on channels 325 and 326, respectively.

LP KUVN/34 (Azteca America) has been carried on Comcast channel 74 for over a year now.

The clearance of these channels at this time must anger the owners of the now defunct LAT-TV and its flagship KCVH/30, which went dark several months ago. They had cited lack of cable clearance as the key reason for the network's failure.
