Houston Nutt Fired

I sure would hope so.

College football is not what it used to be.

I hope Arkansas hires someone that will take charge of the program and win huge game after huge game, instead of beating a #1 team once, and thinking he is a Savior! Arkansas is losing way to many good players.


How was the on air play by play broadcasts for Arkansas this year?

he's reportedly going right next door--oxford, mississippi. my personal opinion is his wife wanted out of fayetteville for a number of reasons.

Just curious, why no love for Thompson? When I did sports talk in JB he was a frequent guest. He always was great to us.

Anyway, he a Houston are together again at Ole Miss. That is if Houston decides to keep him.

I worked with him here at UCA....lets just say he never met a lie that he didn't like.
He puts on a GREAT front. J.T. fooled ALOT of people over here.
 
Is Houston Nutt a bad guy? I don't know him, I assume everyone is nice until I really meet them. I know for a fact that Bill Callahan was a pretty descent guy, but he didn't coach up to the standards of Nebraska football fans throughout the country.

If you lose top players and games that you shouldn't lose, you need to go. Ok,so he resigned, I think that is a good decision for him and his family. I am really interested to find out who takes over? Who are the names that are floating around?

I was aware that you patrolled Hogville.Net quite frequently, but did not realize you were monitoring the radio industry as well! It is apparent now that I love the helmet more than you do.....

Is this the same John Thompson that was on City Council or the school board in Conway as well. There was also a time that John Thompson was my elementary principal at Ellen Smith. Same person?

This is a different John Thompson. In fact, the one you are referring to has moved from and back to Conway a few times.
