I just read that the Rockets are wanting to find another station to carry their games. What do you think? We're they not happy with KILT 610 or was it the other way around?

Jim Foley and Gene Peterson both retired at the end of the season. Those guys are legends, to me at least.

However, IMHO the new Astros voices (Brett Doland and the other guy) are very good. I'm sure the Rockets will find familiar voices or voices that the fans will quickly gravitate to just as the Stros did.Jay5Ok said:
There is a comfort factor involved and Jim & Gene have been doing it for so long, that it's going to be strange next season.
As for looking for a new flagship station, I don't think so. I'm not sure, but their contract is good for several more years. After that the Rockets could have a bidding war for their broadcast rights if the market continues to house 3 to 4 sports station, which I doubt. If 1560 hands around, that is just what they are looking for.
