Houston's demographics must be way different from other top markets...

Every other market gets Jack or Movin' but not Houston...of course with the significant ethnic diversity of the market and the strong affinity to country music. we have a rather unique radio market...but it is still seems strange we don't have AAA or rhythmic oldies...and satellite radio may be the great market equalizer...

Movin' is NOT rhythmic oldies. At least, I find it hard to think so when Movin' in Dallas has songs playing over 40 times a week and are currents. Movin' is a rhythmic adult CHR without the core hip hop and edgy rock stuff.

There are only about 6 or 8 Movin's in the whole country. That means it is very odd to have one at this time.

And there are only about 41 AAA stations in the rated markets, which are about 285. That means that it is very normal not to have one. When places like LA can not support one, it is not odd that Houston would not have one.

There is a AAA format on HD-2 I think on 93.7?
